SINDH EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SEF), Government of Sindh
Invites Application for SEF Documentary

This is call for an expression of interest for developing a 45 min to 1 hour organizational documentary about the Sindh Education Foundation (including the organization’s educational programs, projects, learning activities, promotion of public, private and community partnerships for quality education, etc.). We are looking forward to a high-powered video defining the expanse of SEF’s work in the field of education across Sindh over the past 17 years. The filming will require field visits to interior of Sindh as well as school and community sites within Karachi. The documentary has to be developed in English, Urdu & Sindhi languages.

The deadline for EOI & Pre-qualification is 20^th May 2009.

Eligibility Criteria:
·        Proven track record in documentary film making with focus on developmental issues.
·        Availability of qualified & experienced human resource as well as sufficient technical facilities in the field of film/ documentary making.

Selection Procedure:
·        Initial short-listing will be based on the above eligibility criteria.
·        The EOIs with supporting documents should reach the Associate Director, Admin & HR, Sindh Education Foundation before 20^th May 2009.
·        Only those applicants who have satisfied the eligibility criteria will be invited to submit a comprehensive proposal.
·        Final selection based on the evaluation of both the technical proposal and financial proposal.

·        Name and Contact Information
·        Details of Authorized Contact Person(s)
·        Work Profile including Contact details of clients; brief project details; period/ date of contract; total value of the contract.
·        CVs of human resource
·        Certifications, Testimonials  
·        Minimum 2 samples of previous work on DVD format.

The organizations/ individuals will be short-listed for further participation in a selection process based on the responses received to this EOI. Successful organization/ individual will be issued the Request for Proposal (RFP) for furnishing Financial Proposal.
