A delegation from the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF) and the Merged Areas Education Foundation (MAEF) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held a productive meeting with the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), Government of Sindh, at the PNSC Building on November 26, 2024.
The SEF team, led by Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, Secretary of the School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD) and Managing Director of SEF, along with Director General M&E Moula Bakhsh Shaikh, Ms. Shahpara Rizvi, Deputy Managing Director (Operations/Support Services), Mr. Nisar Banbhan, Director (Programs & Projects), and other senior SEF officials, warmly welcomed the eight-member delegation. The delegation included Managing Director MAEF Mian Ainullah, Managing Director ESEF Khawaja Faheem Sajjad, and other distinguished representatives.
During the meeting, Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi highlighted the importance of inter-provincial collaboration, stating, “After hosting the National Conference for Education Foundations in Karachi, it is a pleasure to welcome you again at SEF. Exposure visits like these foster mutual learning, as your initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may differ from what we implement in Sindh. Together, we can create a greater impact.”
The SEF team delivered a detailed presentation on their initiatives and programs, which was followed by a constructive feedback session from the visiting delegation.
Both Managing Director MAEF Mian Ainullah and Managing Director ESEF Khawaja Faheem Sajjad commended SEF’s efforts. Reflecting on their visit to SEF-supported schools in Sherpao and Gadap a day earlier, they remarked, “We are impressed by the impactful work being done by SEF. It would be an honor for us to host the Secretary SE&LD/Managing Director SEF and the SEF management team in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to explore our initiatives. Strengthening our ties will enable us to achieve more inclusive and effective educational outcomes.”
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties emphasizing the value of continued collaboration to improve education standards across provinces.
