Advisory Committee meeting for the Children’s Parliament on the Right to Education

A meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Children’s Parliament on the Right to Education was held at the Sindh Human Rights Commission office, chaired by Mr. Iqbal Detho. During the meeting, the Thar Education Alliance presented its progress report on the Children’s Parliament, showcasing notable achievements in promoting the right to education. Deputy Director (Programs & Planning) of the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) Ali Usman participated in the meeting as a member of the committee. Other key participants included representatives from the Reform Support Unit, SELD Sindh , UNICEF Pakistan, JICA Pakistan government stakeholders, Thar Education Alliance, and various NGOs. The Advisory Committee provided insightful suggestions and actionable recommendations for upcoming initiatives aimed at strengthening advocacy and enhancing the implementation of the right to education across Sindh. The collaboration reaffirmed the collective commitment of all stakeholders to ensure quality education for every child in the province.
