Foundation Assisted Schools in District Khairpur marked World Earth Day with great enthusiasm, along with the program team and the Assistant Director of the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) Sindh. The event was organized under the inspiring theme “Our Planet is Our Power.” Speaking on the occasion, the District Head of Khairpur emphasized the urgent need to reduce pollution, minimize the use of plastic bags, and promote tree plantation, especially among schoolchildren. He encouraged students and staff to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. The Assistant Director of EPA Sindh lauded the efforts of the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) in raising environmental awareness through education. As a symbolic gesture of commitment to a greener future, fruit trees were planted in school premises. The event served as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.
